Martinsville Area Community Foundation works with local families, individuals, corporations, private foundations, and non-profit agencies to establish permanent endowment funds. Those funds are then applied to address a wide range of important community needs, both now and for generations to come. This particular grant comes from MACF’s Martinsville Endowment Fund.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia was incorporated in 1997, when it was known as The Boys & Girls Club of Roanoke Valley. Regionally, over 3,000 youth in the Roanoke, New River Valley, and Martinsville areas have become members. Together, the clubs now operate as a regional effort, working together to maximize resources and serve children.
